What events does Tranquillity Vineyard host?

The events program runs year round. Warm months bring live music on the lawn, where more than 60 Adirondack chairs offer complimentary open seating with views over Lake Quassapaug. Seasonal brunches mark spring and fall weekends, and the holidays bring special experiences that pair handcrafted wine with the coziest stretch of the year. Warm indoor seating in the White Barn keeps events going all winter.

Do I need tickets or a reservation for live music?

Open lawn seating is complimentary and walk ins are welcome, so for most music nights you can simply show up. Groups that want guaranteed seats can reserve a Vineyard Terrace Table for up to 6 at $50 for 2 hours, the Estate Gathering Table for up to 8 at $75, or a White Barn farm table for up to 12 at $120. The Sunset Fire Lounge, with its propane fire pit for up to 6, is the most requested spot for evening shows.

What recurring events should I know about?

Beyond music, the vineyard hosts a monthly book club that has become a local favorite. Learn how it works and how to join in our post on the book club at Tranquillity Vineyard. Guided tours and tastings also run regularly, and first timers can preview the visit in what to expect at your first wine tasting.

Can I make a whole day of an event?

Yes, and many guests do. Pair an afternoon event with dinner and shopping nearby using our guide to a day on Lake Quassapaug. You can bring your own food to the vineyard, food trucks are on site when available, and leashed dogs are welcome at outdoor events.
