The Silo and Club Lounge: Choosing the Right Private Space for Your Group

Which private space at Tranquillity Vineyard fits your group? The answer usually comes down to guest count. Here is a space by space breakdown of every reservable option on our Middlebury, CT estate, with capacities and pricing, so you can pick the right fit before you inquire.

What private spaces does Tranquillity Vineyard offer?

There are three dedicated private spaces. The Wine Club Lounge holds up to 15 guests at $250 for 2.5 hours with a 6 bottle minimum, our largest indoor private room and the go to for milestone birthdays, showers, and team gatherings. The Historic Silo Seating holds up to 8 guests at $150 for 2.5 hours with a 4 bottle minimum, an intimate, one of a kind setting inside an original farm silo. The BullPen, a historic barn, is reserved exclusively for private events and suits larger celebrations.

Which space fits my guest count?

For 6 or fewer, a Vineyard Terrace Table at $50 for 2 hours or the Sunset Fire Lounge with its propane fire pit are ideal. For up to 8, choose the Historic Silo or the Estate Gathering Table at $75 for 2 hours. For 9 to 12, reserve a White Barn farm table at $120. For 13 to 15, the Wine Club Lounge is the answer. Beyond 15, ask about the BullPen or a full private event, like the celebrations described in our fall private events guide.

What is included with a private space reservation?

Reservations cover the space itself for the listed time block. Food and wine are purchased separately, you are welcome to bring your own food, and food trucks are on site when available. Reservations are booked in 2 hour blocks, are non refundable, and can be rescheduled with 24 hours notice. Our rain policy also lets outdoor guests reschedule, leashed pets are welcome, and accessible seating is available on request.

Which events work best in each space?

The Wine Club Lounge hosts everything from baby showers and sip and sees to corporate meetings. The Silo is a favorite for anniversaries, small birthday dinners, and proposals. The BullPen handles the big moments, and couples planning the biggest one of all should start with our guide to planning a wedding at Tranquillity Vineyard.

How do I reserve a private space?

Email taste@tranquillityvineyard.com with your date, guest count, and occasion, and the team will confirm availability and walk you through bottle minimums. Once you know your headcount, the right space almost picks itself.
