Holiday Parties at Tranquillity Vineyard: Company Celebrations and Family Gatherings

Where can you host a holiday party near Middlebury, CT that feels special without feeling like a banquet hall? Tranquillity Vineyard & Winery hosts company celebrations and family gatherings on a historic lakeside estate through November and December, with warm indoor seating that keeps the vineyard cozy all winter. The best dates go first, so early booking matters.

Can I host a company holiday party at Tranquillity Vineyard?

Yes, and weekday evenings Tuesday through Thursday offer the most availability for company parties. Teams gather in the Wine Club Lounge, up to 15 guests at $250 for 2.5 hours with a 6 bottle minimum, or take the Historic Silo, up to 8 guests at $150 for 2.5 hours with a 4 bottle minimum. Larger companies can book the BullPen, our historic barn reserved exclusively for private events. For a full look at how corporate gatherings work here year round, see our guide to corporate events at the vineyard.

What about family holiday gatherings?

Family groups love the White Barn farm tables, which seat up to 12 at $120 per reservation, and the Estate Gathering Table for up to 8 at $75 for 2 hours. Smaller parties can settle around the Sunset Fire Lounge, a propane fire pit for up to 6 that is made for cold weather evenings. Reservations are booked in 2 hour blocks and can be rescheduled with 24 hours notice.

Is food included with a holiday reservation?

Food and wine are purchased separately from seating reservations, which keeps the format flexible. You are welcome to bring your own food or hire a caterer, and food trucks are on site when available. Many holiday hosts pair a private space with a guided tasting so the wine becomes the entertainment.

When should I book a holiday party?

November and December weekends fill quickly, so most hosts book in early fall. If your celebration lands earlier in the season, our fall private events guide covers October gatherings on Lake Quassapaug.

How do I reserve a holiday party date?

Email taste@tranquillityvineyard.com with your preferred dates, guest count, and whether the celebration is corporate or family, and the team will recommend the right space. A holiday party at a working winery on the lake is one your group will still be talking about in January.
